2019 End of Year Update

Dr Rany joined WAH in January 2019, and quickly showed her leadership qualities, dedication, and bright personality, representing WAH in the best possible way. Having Rany as Executive Director has been a blessing. She is trustworthy, intelligent, have great inter personal skills, and the fact that she is a doctor helps us with our strong relationship with PHD. In June 2019 we ran a highly successful cataract mission for 285 people, 347 eyes. We also ran a joint KKH/Mount Alvernia training program which was a great success. It was also a year when we started to replace old water systems with new ones in schools and health centres. We also made improvements to the bicycle systems. Our scholarship program continued to flourish, and we employed 3 interns from BHI to work with WAH.
